Kids say the darndest things...

Just had to post a couple of things Davis said this morning that were too funny! When I went to wake him up this morning, he bounced out of bed and said his hand was "bubbling". I'm looking around a little worried that I'm going to find an open bottle of bubble solution in his bed when I see him shaking his hands around. So I asked him, "What exactly does that mean, that your hand is bubbling?" (do I really want to know???? yes, i think so)

Turns out, that was how he described his hand falling asleep! He said when he sleeps on his hand or his arm and then wakes up, its "bubbling". I've never heard that one, but I like it!

Later in the morning I gave Davis a kiss on his cheek and he quickly wiped it off, which he has been prone to do lately. It makes me a little sad to see him do this, because I thought he would like mommy's kisses longer than age 4. I guess my Chapstick obsession is bothering him. Anyway, I asked him why he wipes it off. His answer: I just didn't want it to be there all alone.

What?

You know what, he's too quick with a comeback, and I think we should be worried. He later admitted that he just didn't want me to get makeup on him. But how funny is that response?!

I've pondered it though, and I'm just going to keep giving my little sweetie pie all the kisses I can, so he can just wipe 'em away to his heart's content. I wouldn't want to leave them there alone, so I'll just add more!
