Medal Day!!!

Today was Davis' last day of gymnastics for the spring semester and they passed out medals to all the participants. He is so proud! After he got his medal, Davis told me he is going to wear it every day.

This is his "TA-DA" pose that they do in the class and that each one did after receiving their medal. I didn't have my camera at the class, so we tried to recreate the moment a bit!

The lazy days of summer are here...

For some of us, anyway, it seems the lazy days of summer have already arrived!

Davis and Andrew fell in love with the hammock. I brought it out after being inspired by the hammocks on the beach in Key West...trying to bring home a little of the vacation. These guys are taking full advantage of it, aren't they?

From my perspective, though, I see this as one big potential accident just waiting to happen. Let's hope no one gets knocked in the head while they're "relaxing"!

Egg in a hole

We introduced Davis and Andrew to a new breakfast concept...egg in a hole! They cut circles out of their bread and then watched while we cracked the egg into the hole and cooked. They had their spatulas at the ready - pirate attire was optional.

Our first bowling outing

We had our first trip to the bowling alley with the boys. It was their cousin, Ethan's, 9th birthday party and we had a blast! The boys went crazy for bowling...Troy included!

Davis found the (almost) perfect bowling ball. The only thing that would have made it better is if had been green (his favorite color). But he loved this ball, as you can see!

Not bad form for a first-timer!

Mimi had lots of fun bowling, too! Lots of cuddles first - then lots of bowling.

Andrew needed a little more help, but he got the hang of it pretty quickly.

Check it out...Andrew had to wait a long time for his ball to get all the way to the end of the lane, but once it did he was fired up!

Here's Troy and Papa...

...and Troy & Andrew. (You can tell I'm going picture crazy, huh?)

Here's Ethan, the birthday boy with his mom, T.K. cutting the cake. I stopped counting how many pieces of cookie cake I had. It was getting embarrassing.

Thanks for the awesome party, Ethan!!!! Happy Birthday!!!
